Samantha Barritt, MS, LIMHP, LADC, CAMF, joined the Heartland team in December 2023 as a Rural School Based Therapist in the Winside NE Schools. She obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling degree from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. Samantha has been Independently Licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner since 2017 and fully licensed as an Alcohol and Drug counselor since 2015 in the state of Nebraska. She is also certified as an anger management facilitator and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Samantha has over 18 years of experience in the helping profession. She is fond of utilizing EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered therapy techniques. Samantha enjoys working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression and inter-personal problems.
