She takes pride in her work and is passionate about using the healing power of creativity and the effectiveness of evidenced-based techniques for recovery, growth, and transformation. Melissa stated, “Being a therapist is an honor and a privilege.” Her personal mission is to help her clients see that they are a unique gift to this world. She believes everyone has the innate ability to be creative and that art is a powerful way to express things that words cannot express. Melissa started at Heartland in August 2021.
