Lora Heithold is one of Heartland's Mental Health Therapists working in the Wayne, NE Schools. She has vast experience in working with people from preschool to geriatrics. She worked in a K-12 setting as a sign-language interpreter while attending graduate school. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Dakota in May 2023. She has 16 years working as a social worker in the medical field and 14 years working in the education field from preschool to high school. She worked for the past year and a half as a Hospice Chaplain, when she started at Heartland Counseling as a School-based Therapist in August 2023. Her & her husband’s favorite pass-time is spending time with family, being active in their church, and being on the farm. Lora’s passion is helping others find their way and watching them grow to their fullest potential.
