Hanna Samson, LIMHP
Hanna joined the Heartland Counseling Services team as a school-based mental health therapist in the South Sioux City High School and Gateway to Learning in January 2022. Hanna completed an internship at Heartland and graduated from South Dakota State University with a Master's in clinical mental health counseling in December 2022. She received her Bachelor's in psychology and social sciences from the University of Sioux Falls. Hanna is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS). Hanna stated, "I am in awe of the resiliency of human beings, and I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic alliance." She received her LIMHP in 2024.
